Um, it's 2008 now.

Tue Sep 30, 2008, 8:25 PM
Yeah, that's right, it's been two years since I've touched this place.

Updates? You betcha. I haven't been dead the last 26 months, you know. It'll be slow, because I STILL don't have a scanner...go figure.
Nevertheless, I promise that once midterms are over (uh-huh I'm a college sophomore now) my gallery is going to get a lot bigger. Hopefully better as well; I like to think I've improved, it boosts my ego.

  • Mood: Tired
  • Listening to: Pastorale (Beethoven, symphony # 6)
  • Reading: Biology, 8th edition by Campbell
  • Watching: Some plant outside my window
  • Drinking: H2O, what else?

...summer, I guess.

It's summer!
I'm alive!
I have no more excuses not to post! Er, well, I will be in Nashville, TN for six days without internet, but other than that...
I will get some art up!
And I might even get a scanner of my own! (W00t no more leeching off other people)
It's a wonderful time of year. XD

Holidays!!!

Sun Dec 11, 2005, 10:48 PM
Winter vacation is coming! So much free time!! But it's not here yet. Tomorrow I have a biology midterm, math test, history test, and chemistry final. I'm taking chem in college, so the term is over on Monday and I get to sit in finals for two hours. What a deal.

Anyhoo, HOLIDAY SPIRIT ALL AROUND! This season has become so commercialized it makes me sick. It has lost all wholesome meaning to humans' undying obsession with money. So, when I say 'holiday spirit', please fight for a moment against the current of capitalism-spawned consumerism and be happy with the meaninful things in life: the air that's still clean enough to breathe (although it's going fast), that little epiphany of peace that occurs during the moment of silence before the next sprint in the rat race, the sunrise whose colors inspire your next work of art.

The plastic, dazzling, made-in china-Macy's-holiday-super-sale-buy-all-the-cheap-toys-the-kiddies-want-just-to-make-them-shut-up-even-thought-they'll-end-up-in-the-landfill-by-January holiday season can burn.

Cynical? Yes. Appreciating life? Absolutely.

Thanksgiving

Tue Nov 22, 2005, 10:24 PM
Thanksgiving cometh, and I had better be thankful. Yes, brain cell-killing amounts of homework can be annoying, but compared to the unfortunate situations that exist out there my life coudn't be better. So I'll just shut up, sit down, and be happy with what I've got. Besides, two days off school is a great bonus.

Happy Thanksgiving one and all!

:D

Aaah--No time!

Sat Nov 5, 2005, 6:02 PM
There is not enough time for everything. Between regular school, DI, riding, college, and robotics I find myself so busy that I go for days without drawing a single thing. :crying:

Well, Armistice Day is coming up, so I get a three day weekend! The excitement! :XD:
